1:200 m scale museum model of the International Commerce Center.
The 4th tallest Tower in the world, the ICC sits on the Kowloon side of the Hong Kong bay and has spectacular views of the city. It also boast of having the world’s tallest hotel.
The model was constructed of a custom colored Plexiglas curtain wall using the actual film applied to the building’s facade. The armature had a frosted Plexiglas core for lighting and all the floor plates and columns in the interior. The top 15 floors of the model have a detailed interior atrium for the hotel floors. The model stands over 8 feet tall an was constructed in two parts for shipping.
The model was commissioned by the the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
